Meeting IPAC
guidelines with
custom pattern.

Tasked with creating a leaf pattern that would exist within our collections, I thought back to a lifetime of New England autumns. Watching the leaves fall was a meditative exercise that I wished to express in this pattern.

About the project:

Design firm HOK approached LDI looking for custom upholsteries for a range of furnishings in the 320-bed Humber Meadows LTC home. Designers wanted a PVC-free, coated fabric that would meet infection prevention and control (IPAC) guidelines. LDI delivered with a biophilic design that created a unique and welcoming aesthetic.
